Thirty-seven Rye Hockey Garnets along with Coaches Thomas, Bailey and Bannon dove into the icy waters of the Long Island Sound to raise money for Special Olympics. The team was again the second top fund raiser in the Westchester Polar Plunge. In recognition of the Hockey Garnet’s dedication to freezin’ for a reason, the coaches were given the honor of plunging dressed in tutus and feather boas. So far, $6,675 has been raised and there’s still time to get that number up even higher. Click on the link to donate.
