The Rye Varsity and Modified Hockey teams will be doing the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 11:00am at Glen Island Park in New Rochelle.
“Our first community service initiative is the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics. The team as well as my assistant coach and I are raising money and taking the plunge on November 15 at Glen Island Park in New Rochelle,” said Coach Thomas. “As a team we have already raised over $2,500 and that ranks us as the second largest fundraising group. We expect that we will finish up as the top team, as we will on the ice!”
