Everything is new this year! New players, new coaches, and a “re-new-ed” home (Playland!).
After the departure of 9 players (7 of them seniors) the Garnets have a lot of new faces this season.
The Garnets lead with a very experienced senior class comprised of: Michael Kamer, Derek Mullane, Pat Curran, Billy Haynes, and Nat Deen.
The strong returning group from last season are: Daniel Bonaventura (Junior), Aidan Lavelle (Junior), Theo Bresolin (Junior), Nick Berger (Junior), Theo Berner (Junior), Tommy O’Brien (Junior), Will Tutun (Sophomore), Mac McGovern (Sophomore), Will Hynson (Sophomore), and Andrew Lipari (Junior).
New to the team this year are: Ali Howard (Junior), Hank McWilliams (Junior), Ryan Kirkpatrick (Sophomore), Guy Junkins (Sophomore), Alex Ruggiero (Sophomore), Rocco Macri (Junior), Connor Appleyard (Sophomore), Jack Petrucelli (Sophomore), and Max Kahle (Freshman).
The Garnets take to the ice to begin their 40th season (!) this Saturday, Nov. 29 at 9:10pm at the Westchester Skating Academy v. Briarcliff HS.
Four days later is the Home Opener on Wednesday, Dec. 3 at 7:45pm at Playland v. Iona Prep.
No more fan buses, no more “hockey nomads” – come out in force and support your Hockey Garnets this season!
